Learn More About Cultural Mentoring

The Cultural Mentorship Program, in partnership with Canadian Caribbean Association of Halton (CCAH), aims to create and develop mentoring relationships with a focus on celebrating Caribbean and African cultures. This program is offered to young people ages 10-14 who identify as being part of the Black community.

Through weekly discussions and exercises, participants will have an opportunity to engage in group activities that focus on developing a strong personal identity while learning how to make healthy and safe choices in their community. Youth will be provided with a space to learn about cultural history, share experiences, establish social connections, discuss wellness strategies, learn about community resources and practice team building and leadership skills all within the scope of cultural mentorship initiatives.

Currently limited to the Halton area.
