Welcome to our Virtual Tree Lot!
For every virtual tree, ornament, string of lights or star purchased, you are directly supporting our young people and mentoring programs. Thank you!
You can send a tree or ornament to someone, send an eCard in memory of a loved one, or support our lot through a donation. To send an eCard, select “In honour of ” then “send eCard” under “Dedication Information” when checking out below.
We have 400 Trees available. Please help us empty our lot and reach our $25,000 fundraising goal. Thank you to IKEA, Burlington, ON, for kickstarting our fundraising efforts with a generous $10,000 investment!
$1,000 DONATION – STAR TREE TOPPER | Bright like a tree topper, every $1,000 donation ignites potential by supporting a Big & Little Match for one year. This investment creates the opportunity for a young person to be supported in a positive developmental relationship with their Big until the next holiday season. Make a donation or send as a gift with a card below … $100 DONATION – STRING OF LIGHTS | Each light on the string is connected strong from the start, just like our volunteers. Every $100 donation will be invested in child and safety training for a new volunteer, bringing us one step closer to making a new Big & Little match. Every $25 donation supports one activity for up to 10 young participants in a group mentoring program. We regretfully announce that Big Brothers Big Sisters’ Annual Tree Lot at IKEA has been cancelled this year due to a tree shortage. Each year, this initiative helps raise $25,000 for vital mentoring programs within our community.
IKEA’s Tree Lot Fundraiser has become a holiday tradition for hundreds of volunteers and corporate groups alike, who collectively donate thousands of hours each year to help make our Tree Lot Fundraiser a success.
Our hope is that fundraising for our vital programming remains strong this holiday season. We are asking our amazing community to help us create holiday magic by supporting our Virtual Tree Lot this year instead.
COMMUNITY IMPACT
Virtual Tree Lot proceeds support vital mentoring services for young people who need it most. We are proud to report that over 2,000 young people and their families will have received the support of mentor through our organization by this year’s end.
